WLA’s Executive Director Lesli Allison participated as a panelist on “Empowering Private Landowner Conservation,” part of the Western Governors’ Association Chairman’s Initiative on “Species Conservation and the Endangered Species Act”. Here’s a link to the webinar and presentations; note that there is two hours worth of information, so it will take time to load. Moderated by Chris West of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, the panel also featured Amos Eno, Resources First Foundation, and Jeff Morgheim, Edge Strategic Consulting.

In a separate venture, WLA teamed up with Tim Griffiths, the West Regional Coordinator of NRCS’ Working Lands for Wildlife (WLFW) program, along with other national and regional NRCS staff, for a conversation designed specifically for landowners and managers in he West about how federal funding and wildlife conservation programs can benefit working land operations and conserve declining species. Here’s a link to the webinar recording.
